ASCE YMF Virtual Food Drive

In light of in-person events being suspended for the time being, we decided to mobilize our membership virtually in support of a good cause. The Hawaii Food Bank reports 1 in 6 people, including more than 90,000 of our keiki, in requiring food assistance. The profound economic impacts of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic have only worked to compound these figures. It is now that our communities need our support more than ever. 

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Virtual Food Drive and 'Support Local' Gift Card Raffles! Together, we were able to provide over 4500 meals to those in need. Here is a brief summary of the impact our organization was able to make with the help of our donors and additional gift cards provided by our ASCE Hawaii Section leadership.
